Title: Blackwing Pencils and Alembic

It's no secret I love pencils! Actually pens, paper, and all sorts of stationery supplies. I've known the owner at Blackwing for a while, and they reached out when they did their newest limited edition of Jerry Garcia pencils. There's a little write-up on their website here:

When we had the fires race through norther Santa Rosa in 2017, Blackwing asked me to identify the schools that were impacted by the fires and they donated tons of pencils for when the schools reopened.

Mom's favorite of the Blackwings is the Pearl and I'm a fan of the 602.

Cool story and article Mica.  Especially nice to hear about the pencil donations, so many companies take but never give back!

The REAL story needs to be accurately told more widely and more often.  Ron and Susan are every bit as groundbreakingly important as Leo Fender, Lloyd Loar, Les Paul, Neve, etc.  The history and contributions they made are giant.
