That's pretty cool.   Thanks for posting.

I have one like that, but it is zebrawood, and mine has Alembic Series I electronics.    That one looks like what he used later on.   The electronics in that one is pickups with the electronics inside like an EMG.

I've seen that one make the rounds over the years. Very cool bass. I don't have 10K laying around though.

I was the previous owner of that bass.  I think I sold it for about 1/5 of that a few years ago.  Not sure where the $10K number comes from, but it is a nice bass.  Simple original Becvar circuit with Alembic cast pickups.
