I bought this.  Thank you very much for posting this link.  It's just what I was looking for.  The person I spoke to at Music-Go-Round (St. Louis) was very helpful, and made sure I had noticed the dings shown in the ad photos.  Great bass.

Thanks everyone!  The Epic is terrific.  It's hard to believe this is the very bottom of the Alembic product line.  I had a Warwick Corvette 5 that I liked a lot, but it went off to the consignment store the week after I got the Alembic.
