Title: 87 Koa Spoiler 6-string #87S4552, crazy tight bridge spacing
Post by: Steve in Florida on February 01, 2024, 01:47:34 PM
Hi all!  This is my first post in The Club!

I bought a fabulous 6-string 32" scale koa Spoiler, with tight string spacing.

It's kind of perfect for me... as I play more guitar than bass... so I have it tuned E to E like a guitar but an octave lower, which makes super simple, no thinking required, and chords are easy on it.

Also the narrow string spacing is kind of perfect because I don't need a "finger ramp" like a normally prefer for speedy playing... since the narrow string spacing prevents your fingers from digging too deep.

A bit of a crazy build I think, based on the string spacing.  But I think I can make it work!

Thank you!

I'm a bit surprised, but this unique bass has at least one sibling... and it's for sale here at a nice price...
