Many of us are here because of the personal relationship Alembic has with its customers. On the rare occasion where I encounter a company that similarly goes above and beyond, I feel compelled to sing its praises. Such was my experience today with Proline. The keyboard player in my band snapped the boom right off the Proline mic stand at our last rehearsal. I called Proline to see if I could purchase the piece that broke so I could repair the stand. Instead, they are sending me a brand new stand for free! Customer service doesn't get much better than that! Thanks, Proline!

I have always liked Proline; now I like them more! That puts them up there with Kustom & ProCo Lifelines.

Agreed, getting great Customer Service these days IS something to crow about. Probably because it has become such a rare behavior.

I asked a simple question about their product and they were going to comp me 3 packages of flour tortillas. I declined the offer as it didn’t seem fair (I was able to consume what I purchased). Their rapid reply and eagerness ‘to make things right’ took me by surprise.

I'll have to pay attention; I think all our boom stands are ProLine stands. I've had them for quite a few years. Gave all the PA equipment to another band member and sold the trailer last year when it became clear that I wasn't going to be doing a lotta' that part of the game.
There's still some good customer service out there going on if you look around for it.

I like that some companies still understand that word of mouth and customer service actually work; this kind of stuff makes life-long customers...
