I live in Massachusetts. There is a music store in Northampton, MA that has the nice 77 Walnut top 77'
Alembic Series 1. I brought my 82 Series 1 to compare. The 77' weighs in at 11lbs 1 ounce. My series
82 series 1 weighs in at 10lbs 3 ounces. Both sound great, but the 77 since it's heavier had a snappier
attack. It also has a great neck feel.
