Yes, so what ? That's nothing new. Correct, but did you EVER see the day when a used Alembic would cost LESS than a new bass made in China ? I can't think of the brands, but you've all seen them.
This is a NICE bass and to have the Alembic pedigree, looks, for a very competitive price (NOT for a teenager just starting out in life) is something that goes over MANY player's heads because they maybe never thought it could be a possibility, so why even look ? Sorry, just being a philosophical on a Sunday with a cocktail looking at my Alembic.

Those are nice inlays. There's one here in Japan for just a little less but it doesn't have any inlays.
