Requesting information on this Distillate guitar. I have just acquired it off reverb. I know these were made for Japanese distribution through Yamaha. I’ve seen plenty of the basses, but much less on the guitar counterpart. Anything would be helpful, from control explanations, to wood, to pickups and original buyer, etc. Thank you in advance!

There's not much to report on the original Distillate basses and guitars. They all had the same specifications, and all were sold to Yamaha Musical Instruments in Japan. We didn't even make files for them at the time. We make files now as they are registered.
top: Zebrawood
body: Mahogany
neck: Maple and Purpleheart
fingerboard: Ebony
pickup: AXY
electronics: volume, filter, Q-switch, bass cut/flat/boost, treble cut/flat/boost, mono output all mounted on front brass plate
