Highly suspicious. Only item listed, no feedback, price too good to be true.

These days dealing directly with a business or person, when possible, has the best outcome for me. Etsy, Reverb, etc.. buyers are now falling victim to scammers. I had one scammer on Etsy create a fake shipping label showing delivered and received. What a mess.
-
Quote still isn't working for me and today I received an odd popup about only moderators and myself bein g able to see IP addresses. Now back to the subject.
The price is too good to be true especially since it is listed as being for sale in Japan.
-
Given it's in Japan, that price is about $4000-$5,000 too low even if it actuallly is a 2011 new-old stock bass. You would think the scammers would at least come up with a reasonable price.

There’s another one today ( 1987 Stanley Clarke model ) for $2015. It’s the 3rd day in a row that I’ve seen a different Alembic bass with a ridiculously low price listed on Reverb by someone with no feedback.
-
I found an even cheaper one! ;D ::) :P

Well that ebay one has disappeared.

"Well that ebay one has disappeared."
As it should! It was a very poor Chinese copy listed for a few hundred bucks.

I don't know if it had anything to do with removing the listing but I took some time the other day and reported it as a poor counterfeit.
