The seller told me that the bass is still avail. 
So why is the ad under review?

The For Sale & Trade section allows only private members and authorized dealers to post items.

The OP was, essentially, an ad.   It described the bass with a sales pitch in flowery terms that seemed targeted for people who knew little about Alembics.   The seller has a reverb shop with over 500 instruments for sale.   As I implied in my above post, it felt VERY out of place here in the Wickersham’s virtual living room.

kinda strange it hasn't popped up for sale anywheres else.  at least that i was able to find with a cursory search.  a strange business indeed.

Talked to the seller yesterday. 
He will put up the bass on Reverb on Tuesday.
Unfortunately he doesn’t ship internationally.

The seller use to own, and maybe still does, a regular storefront business. Based on some of the reviews I saw for that business I would be hesitant to purchase something from them.
