Title: Alembic Bass VI?

Hihi, lately I just got my hands on one of these bad boys and damn am I having a lot of fun on it. It’s not a bass nor a guitar. It’s a bass/guitar 😆

Now I wanna ask, was there ever a Bass VI made by Alembic?

Here ya' go, Jack... I think #72-17 qualifies as a bass vi, maybe the first Alembic. It once belonged to another Jack!

The 6-string neck of my doubleneck is a Bass VI, in my mind anyway. When I got it it had been converted to more of a baritone, tuned either A-A or B-B (with the low string being higher than the low E on a regular bass) but it is basically 30" scale and I was obsessed with the Bass VI for a while, so I put it "back" and it's so much better for me! Holy moly! Never thought Alembic made such beautiful Bass VIs! Thanks for the info guys! Imma post these Alembic Bass VI pics to the Bass VI owners FB page and see what reactions I’ll get there 😂
