I wish we could shutdown these Chinese counterfeiters and not just for guitars. Not only do they ripoff folks thinking they are getting the real thing it is making it harder for those who know the difference to find the real product.

At $389.59 no one is getting the real thing or even a reasonable fake.   I’d bet dollars to donuts it’s a total rip-off.  Maybe you get a picture of an Alembic?

As of last night, they had a picture of a real Alembic. I had nothing nice, or even funny to post, so I said nothing.

Imitation is the highest form of flattery, but for $380 bucks or whatever, there not much flattery going on there. It's no Fernandes FAB, at least that bass was made with respect to the original in mind and I know you never sued anybody over it.

I have SO much respect for that position because it's the ANTI-Censorship position. To me that decision clearly implies, "Go ahead and buy a copy. We have nothing to worry about because until you've played a real Alembic and heard that unmistakable sound you won't want a copy."
