nice bass.  i own an anniversary bass.  i call it my "almost a series I" bass.  this one looks like it has  a mono/stereo  by the jack but no LEDs.  priced somewhat near reality but i think we're gonna find that reality is a slippery slope in the coming months.  the provenance on this bass means nothing imho.

same with the series II that just popped up ( https://reverb.com/item/68365631-alembic-series-ii-bass-1986-walnut-and-mahogany).  medium scale.  $12k.  a few months ago that woulda got snappped up.  my prediction is that it sits for a long time unless the owner is willing to make a $2 or $3k concession.  interesting that both these basses have walnut tops.

i'd expect more high end instuments at semi-desparation-and-getting-shakier prices down the road until the economy stabilizes.  sure wouldn't wanna be a seller in this market.

so sayeth the crusty old stoner about to take his daily after breakfast 2-tap vape and hot tub constitutional.

I don't keep up on prices in Europe but their prices tend to run higher than here in the US. My guess is the asking price is fair for a bass located in the UK.

For the Series II it looks to be a bit high for the condition. I suspect it is include but the seller doesn't mention if the DS-5 included. As an aside I use to live in Los Banos in the early 90's. I miss the Wool Growers Association hotel dining room. When we lived there the kitchen was run by three Basque women who, if you sat close enough to the kitchen, you could hear whistling folk tunes in three part harmonies. The food wasn't bad either. With the exception of the entree everything was all you can eat and the meal included the house wine served in reused bottles.

That bass is not far from me if any members are interested and would like me to check it out.
