Heard about this the other day...
https://relix.com/news/detail/dead-company-confirm-barton-hall-benefit-concert-at-cornell-university/
So, back to Barton Hall... anyone think they may recreate the 5/8/77 setlist?
(I'd like to cherry-pick a list for them from 5/5, 5/7, 5/8, and 5/9...)

If they play the same set list, the concert will last 15 hours. Dead & Co. put on a great slow.

I think this is a lost opportunity. There should be the equivalent of the Skull and Roses festival at Barton Hall. Have DeadCo join all the other Dead cover bands at Barton Hall and have everyone play their recreation of the 5/8 show to duke it out for who does the best job.

Maybe they should just play the Terrapin Station album in its entirety complete with the local symphony strings and timpani sections. That would make a nice benefit show :)

Was that a departure from the band's original vision for the piece? Apparently so, yes.
Was it a departure from their previous stuff? Yep.
Was it musically bad? I have never thought so, no.

Literally laughed out loud.
