I had this album as a young bassist and would love to reconnect with a quality, digital version. Does anyone have FLAC or MPEG audio of this release with Jimmy "Flim" Johnson on bass? Certainly willing to pay a reasonable price. Thanks!

Wow. Over 40 years ago and I don't think I've heard it for at least 30... :D
There is a poor sounding version of the whole album on YouTube, plus better quality versions of two tracks "Arrowhead" and "Sanctuary" by a different poster. I'll let you find those if you just want to listen. If you have a turntable there's used vinyl for sale on Ebay (best deal is the one listed as "Whyne Johnson Trio", ha!) and even a couple accessible via Amazon. I don't think the album ever made it to CD.
That's a pretty obscure archive to be seeking but I'm glad the music meant something to you.

PS: Sent you a PM - or, tried to... By the way, we're not related. There are millions of Johnsons from Minneapolis.

Thank you!! You have to know the "fanboy" in me is flipping out knowing you took the time to reply to my post.
I have listened to the versions on YouTube and while they satisfied my desire to hear those amazing bass lines again... the quality is just too poor to fully enjoy. I will reach out to Wayne but it also may be time to invest in a turntable again.
May I also say, I had Arrowhead on cassette and as a 14 y.o. bassist that barely knew his scales, I was so blown away by your performances on that album that I would "air bass" to all the songs in my bedroom. I went on the road and the cassette was lost or stolen along the way. I rediscovered your remarkable playing years later with Allan Holdsworth, Flim & the BB's, etc.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your amazing work and influencing my playing style at such a young age. You're at the very top of my list for best bassist, ever.

Hey Dave,
Thanks for all the kind words. "Air bass", I love it. I've had a very lucky run playing with a variety of great musicians and Artists. It's always fun when I hear about one particular album that has "rung somebody's bell". I'm convinced that every band you play in or album that you appear on reaches somebody somewhere.

I was in the same situation not to long ago and contacted Wayne through his website and he sold me digital downloads at a very reasonable price. Check it out!
