My brother is officially retired from music and is selling his beloved 1978 Alembic Series II Long Scale w/LEDs. He is the original owner of this bass. It comes with the case, original power supply, "case candy," Alembic catalog and "birth certificate" from Alembic. The bass is in immaculate shape with no damage or issues to speak of. Also included is the pictured lion's head, which contains actual diamonds. You will be hard pressed to find another 1978 instrument in this condition!
We are asking $9,500 (firm) for everything listed above. This is the cash price and does not include shipping. The bass is located north of Boston, MA.
Also available is an Alembic F-2B preamp with manual and rack case. We are asking $1,200. This is the cash price and does not include shipping.

We are new to the forum - joining in order to list this sale. Forum Member Twocan recently purchased another of my brother's basses, and suggested that we list the bass here in order to reach the right audience. He played the Series II and can affirm its condition.

this bass needs a player.
