Hello Alembic family. I am considering selling my 1977 Alembic.... Great condition (only owner, rarely played). Before I put it on the market, I thought I would see if there was interest here. I think it deserves a better home... SN 77619...Rare blend of woods used, original case, original paperwork (signed by Rick Turner, Ron Wickersham, among others)...power supply I think is original, but unsure. I will post pictures if there is any interest, and I can figure out how...
Top/Back: Walnut
Core :Maple/Mahogany
Neck: Birch/Beech/Amaranth
Fingerboard: Padouk
Veneers: Zebra/Walnut
Inlays: Mother of Pearl

Hi there timlortie, welcome to the club. I am not looking for a series guitar but i'd still love to see some pictures of it. :-)

Wow! She's a real beauty!! Im Interested.

This sounds like the guitar-twin-sister to my Series bass, #77-621.
I would love to see it as well.

Greg, the guitar version of your above-pictured bass would be a long scale guitar. The medium scale guitars have a body shape closer to the Stanley Clarke model.
Bill, tgo

Very nice! Can you tell us the price and weight?
Thank You

I have decided to NOT sell the guitar at this time. Thanks for your interest.

Good Call; hang onto that gem. :)
Right you are/were Bill TGO - I missed the medium-scale clue at first. The walnut in the top sure looks a lot like the top (and back) of Ol' 621 though. That extry maple accent is a nice touch too. Keith's #77-624 has a purpleheart accent between the top and core. Man, those were the days of anything goes!
