Title: A nice pair of single pickups. New to forum

I've had the Rick Turner for about a year. Got it from Gryphon Stringed Instruments. I then became interested in the history which lead to Alembic. I live in Japan so these Distillites come up every now and then. With the yen weak on the dollar I couldn't resist.

Very nice! I'm a big Distillate fan. The Turner guitar is super cool too. Enjoy!

Those single pickup Distillate basses show up in Japan more than anywhere because they were all originally exported to Japan. There were a few hundred made, I estimate about 300. So you should run across a few more now that you're looking.
