Visiting the grandkids in Cool, CA - 100°F in October.  This is why I stay in the Midwest.........

That's pretty funny, it can get really hot in that inland area. I had never heard of Cool and had to look it up, but I have been through Auburn and in the surrounding areas. Best to visit in spring or late fall. California is a big state, the coast is always much more temperate. Not sure I would want to live in San Diego but they have some of the most pleasant weather in the entire country year-round. Best thing about the West Coast, though, is the lack of high humidity. Interestingly October can be the warmest month of the year in San Francisco.

What would be really weird would be going to Weed, CA and not being able to get any weed....

Hi Coz.   It’s 66 degrees right now in Oakland.   If you are near Cool or Sacto, you still have time to drive out to my gig tonight!

The folks in Cool are the ones who were in Sacto; they bought a house here in June.
