A jazz great passes. Loved his work with Coltrane and the album he did with Stanley Clarke - Black Unity

He did an interesting album with Alice Coltrane too..

He was a great influence…shine on, keep on shining…

I saw him once at the Blue Note in 2003. It was a transcendent night of music. Somewhere I have pictures....
