I just found out that the last Saturday in August is International Play Music On The Porch Day.

M-36. Got it in ‘79. If you look closely you might see the dent from a salt shaker flung at the stage which convinced me that there might be another way to make a living than touring the lesser honkytonks of the nation with a cosmic country band.

Oh, yeah.  I've worked a few places that actually had chicken wire around the stage - and many more that should have........

And (though I know I've said this before) the M body was Martin's best idea since X bracing.  Love 'em!

Peter (who was having a yard sale yesterday and, after starting this, didn't even get a chance to look at a guitar, let alone play on the porch)

Better late than not. I got tangled up in things yesterday, and forgot the date. I had an appointment at the imaging center I almost missed too. Yeah, they even have weekend hours now.


Anyway, I brought Dave's old Series I out on the porch this morning and my Golden Gate pick. Guitar playing is totally out right now, but I can still make happy moments with these!
