Looks to be on wonderful shape too.

Interesting and unusual early-period bridge design.  Plus original spring loaded single screw pickup mounts.  It does seem to be in great shape.  I wonder what the "original leather gig bag" might be?

That is intriguing. I couldn't tell you who would be a source for gig bags in 75.

Seller says it's Reunion blues gigbag.... not sure if they ever did something like that for Alembic...

Zebrawood in this one is very similar to 75-183. Slightly different angle on the bookmatch. They're close.

Jimmy - Yeah that 1975 bridge is different.    All of my 1975's had that 'slanted' bridge.   I like that little quirk.

If I remember right, Jimmy's '76 wasn't slanted quite enuff for that big ol' B string.  ;)

Where on Earth could that bass be?! You'd think with as many as we yak about here, it would turn up just by dumb luck.

I'm still waiting for 76-418...  It's either in an attic somewhere or maybe it was lost in a fire?

My original bridge still didn't look like this '75, though it's hard to decipher from that 2nd picture.  Mine was not on a slant, I shifted the whole thing for a bit of extra throw but it was mounted straight across. The funny thing is, the way this '75 is set up the saddles are all in a straight line and not taking advantage of the slant anyway.  Somebody get the strobotuner out!  Ha!

I’d love that original leather gig bag. Been looking for an old one that would fit my 80 series 1 long scale fretless. It came with a beautifully aged leather gig bag. Unfortunately it (the gig bag not the bass) was diagnosed as being thoroughly infested with black mold. Not only did no one want to restore it, no one even wanted it in their shop. Still looking for one.

Has to be a Reunion Blues extra long gig bag.  It was the only one that fit back in the day.
