Hi Guys,
Thanks for the warm community, I'm Rama from Indonesia with my first Alembic bass, "Allen" born in 1997.
After owning trying some boutique basses like MTD USA, Fbass, Fodera, Lull, etc
I could only say that this Rogue has a distinguished sound and meticulous wood work and design, it's easily having its own class incomparable with other brands.
Very proud and happy to finally be able to own one. Once I touch the bass, I know people who built it, they're building it with much love & pride. Kudos to my new Alembic family.
Thanks

Welcome to the Alembic family, we love new members sharing their alembic experiences.
I look forward to your comments after you gig with that bass.
How did you come to owning the bass?
-
Rama, you explained it very well. There IS love inside Alembic instruments.

Congrats and welcome!

Thanks man, I saw an ads of the bass in a forum but didn't have the fund back then, could only dreaming, heart broken to really let it go bcoz of the inability to acquire, but then miracle happened, got a new job and tried my luck to hunt the bass again and the seller was kind enough to gimme the buyer's contact so I dare my self to ask if he would let it go in a fair price, and I still believe that some instruments are meant to be yours like a lover :D. I'm amazed by the quality and sound of this standard Rogue.
Here's a little video of it.

Very nice bass. The more you play it and get used to the filter-based electronics, the more you'll like it!

That is a very pretty Rogue bass and it appears to have found a home with someone who totally understands and appreciates why it is special. I was so excited when I got my first Alembic and can only imagine how excited you must be to have the bass you really wanted but couldn't afford first time you found it. What a great story!
If you haven't already done so register the serial number with Mica. There is also a "Showcase" section of the forum where you could share pictures and info about the bass. One last thing, if you aren't 100% clear about how the electronics work there is a FAQ section that explains each model of bass and associated electronics package.

Agree, should spend more time to be aligned in one frequency with the joint.
