Title: New member! Thanks for the tour of the shop!
Post by: jedgington on June 03, 2022, 03:47:29 PM
Big thanks to the crew at the shop in Rohnert Park. I dropped by today and asked for a tour. Bob gave me a great tour of the shop where I saw the amazing craftsmanship behind these instruments. Truly an experience to remember. Thanks to everyone at Alembic for making my day!

That's awesome! I've visited the previous location multiple times, but haven't been able to check out the new space! Did you take any pictures?

Out of respect for the staff’s privacy I did not take any photos. So many works of art in progress, it would have been really easy to have hundreds of amazing photos. The Commodore-controlled CNC was a highlight.

At the time of the tour I had no idea of the company history. Only afterward when I read the long history on the website did I realize where I had been. Wow.
