Post by: YamatoJJ on May 05, 2022, 12:55:14 PM
Says it’s pretty much new: someone’ll jump on it.

Honestly…How can someone build something like that and not play it. Should be a law against that.

Missed Joy's Birthday by 21 years and one day... and medium-scale too. I'd like to have gotten to that one before the retail market. Of course I would have played it and gotten fingerprints all over it...

Is that long hanging wood removable after the fact? I'd have a real issue with that thing on any stand..lol.

You're referring to the Stinger in the Stinger Omega. Sure, you can have it carved away, but you'd need to refinish to make it look like it was never there. These work well on cradle stands and hanging stands alike. What won't work is trying to lean this on your amp.

Thanks! It's a beautiful feature, but in my case, not road proof : )

The Stinger is probably quite a bit stringer than you would imagine as the tip is all endgrain (think butcher black). The Omega tips are far more fragile than the Stinger. In fact, the Stinger protects them from a wide range of damage. However, visually it's not everyone's cup of tea for sure.
