There's much to know, it seems! Series I, Series II, Activators, preamps...the mind boggles. After 30-plus years of playing, 25-plus years as a serious gearhead, and 20-plus years of designing and commissioning custom instruments, I thought I had my game down pretty well, but I know next to ZIP about Alembic's guitar electronics. I haven't been able to find an awful of info on the subject. Anybody have any suggestions on where I can find info on Alembic's guitar electronics and construction options? Muchas gracias!

Man, you found it! Welcome home. Just start prowlin' around the site; there are little surprises all over the place. Enjoy!

Thanks, David! I'm looking for comprehensive catalog information; Alembic sent me paper catalogs, but all the info was on basses. Anybody know where I can find such info? Thanks!

Billy,
try this link to the Alembic website; check out the individual guitar models to get some specs on the electronics.

My impression is that Alembic Guitar electronics are built behind the same principle of their bass electronics; the tone filter with q boost switch. You may want to check out the pickup section on the Alembic website
http://www.alembic.com/prod/pickups.html (http://www.alembic.com/prod/pickups.html)
While it mainly talks about bass pickups, I believe much of it applies to guitars as well. If you need detailed electronic specs, Mica or Ron are the folks who can help you.
Good luck

Thanks, Valentino. I wish I could find comprehensive info specifically about guitars. It's a little difficult to evaluate and make decisions about features when it's not known exactly what's available--I'm afraid I might overlook something important! :>) I'm sure eventually I'll be able to put it all together. (Any Alembic is better than NO Alembic, eh?) Thanks much for your help!
