Title: Tour Trouble

Just got an e-mail from JT saying that Thursday's Winnipeg concert has been postponed due to "a small number of positive COVID-19 cases within the tour".
Hope that you're OK & that you stay so, Jimmy; be careful out there!

Yes, it seems this unbelievably virulent bug has found it's way into our bubble.  I'm ok so far, and those who have tested positive have generally experienced a few very uncomfortable days followed by quick improvements.  We do not believe that any of our team are in serious danger but they're being closely monitored.  They have access to this new anti-viral drug which should help speed their recoveries.  But the mandatory quarantine does not work well with a touring schedule so we're temporarily on hold in Toronto.  This double-bill with Jackson Browne's band involves almost 100 people moving around the country in busses. So as careful as we are all trying to be, I'm not surprised we've run into trouble.  We may have just been lucky with our tour last fall. On reflection, pandemic touring might not be such a great an idea. :o

Good to hear you are doing ok. Hopefully it will give you a pass and that this will be it for the tour.

Sorry to hear it's found its way into the tour, but glad everyone's holding up.  Sucks to be marooned like that, but I could sure think of worse places than Toronto, my all-time favorite big city.
