That is cool. A good portion of my tinnitus and hearing loss is from playing music but some of it is also from working in large computer rooms and other loud computer equipment. Layering the room with a speaker like that for noise cancellation would go a long way to helping prevent hearing loss.

I wonder how similar the technology is? Electrostatic speaker to the piezoelectric speaker in this article.
