Welcome to the Club! Whatever it is, it is easy to tell it is not an Alembic, so I've moved your thread here.
The logo on the upper horn might be an original brass logo, or it might be a sticker - in either case it should be removed to restore the owner's good karma. :)
-
These olde eyes spy a bass in the background that does look like an Alembic.
-
The white bass is not an Alembic and could not have a serial number of 001 as that bass belonged to Jack Casady. I do see what looks like an Alembic bass behind the lighting fixture though.
A picture of the real number 1:

That bass in the background has the same pickups and upper bout as the white one in the foreground. Me thinks someone just has a bunch of alembic logos. :P

Same show and possibly the same guy playing his Essence - which might be the bass in the background. So it seems Alembic is represented on this show but not the white bass. I think the sticker or logo on that one is just "product placement" advertising for our favorite company. :D

Thanks for the info… also my idea was the white one is a fake one or he just attached a logo on it. thanks for the updates. appreciated. cheers

Oh noo… i know this guy in the picture personally and he is using Original Epic 5 Maple. And about the show ,
This is a weekend tv live performance band show.

Is this in Sri Lanka?
White bass isn't an Alembic. Please send me the details of this musician and I will contact them to invite immediate removal of that emblem if they are claiming it is a custom made Alembic.

The guy with the Essence looks to me to have darker complexion & and heavier build than the guy with the.......whatever.
The headstock of which is not clear enough for me to make the logo for sure, but it might be Mayones https://mayones.com/

That white one is a Flembic, Blembic, OlyMBeck, but it ain't Alembic. The pickups, hardware, nothing about it says Alembic outside of that stolen logo.

Hi mica, Thanks for the info ,
Yes this is in sri lanka / Musicians name is Ivore De Mel.
He is claiming that this white thing is specially designed for him by Alembic in 2021 and its serial is 001
even there is no possibility of happening that just wanna confirm whatever he claims.

I just looked it up on fb and found this image of the bass before the alembic logo was added.

they won’t accept that is a fake one and keep claiming that this one is Specifically customized for Mr. Ivore De Mel and its serial number is 001 . Even i had a long discussion with a man who said that he is a close friend of Mr. Ivore don’t want to accept that guitar is a fake and he keep saying it must be an original. As my point of view its not a good thing that using alembic logo for a unbranded guitar
-
I would expect this one to be a custom as it's a series bass, maybe that is the one his friend is thinking of and not the white bass.
Not a valid youtube URL

No his friend talks about only the white thing which sounds very weird.

You found the same photo I was going to post.
I was also going to post a picture of the buckeye burl topped bass in the video you posted. From that picture I wasn't sure if it was his or another person in the photo as the other person was playing it.
I also found plenty of footage of Ivore De Mel playing a well loved Epic bass. I don't know why he put the logo on the white bass nor why he insists that it is an Alembic as it appears he has plenty of experience with their instruments.
-
Maybe the white bass was the first one made by Allen Lembik? So it is an Al Lembik! That’s about as close as it’s gonna get to an Alembic instrument.
Bill, tgo

Yeah He owns a beautiful Epic 5 Zebrawood and Another Buckeye Burl topped beauty. really i didn’t get the point why he insists that white thing as an alembic and serial is 001.
