“Alembicized” Fender Deluxe Active Jazz Bass (Alembic pickups/electronics)

This Fender MIM Deluxe Active Jazz Bass was customized with brand new Alembic Activator pickups and “East Meets West” controls (volume, pan, treble, bass), all new black hardware front and back, including new bridge, Hipshot tuners, and black Schaller S straplock system. Added an Alembic enamel logo to headstock.  Near mint condition.

I must have close to $2k in this bass.  The Alembic pickups/controls cost in the $1k range If memor serves.  But this bass needs to be played and needs a good home, so I’m selling at a loss.  $1500 net to me plus actual shipping.

East Meets West electronics would include a filter and Q-switch in addition to the other controls.
