Hi Mica,
I just purchased an Electrum on Ebay with serial no. 83E2726. Could you give me information about it?
Thanks Much!
Claire

It's recorded as an ELG6 Electrum guitar
top: Quilted Maple (called Bubbly Maple in the file)
body: Mahogany
neck: Maple with Purpleheart through body
scale: 25.5
fingerboard: Ebony with pearloid oval inlays
birthday: June 15, 1983
We haven't heard from this guitar since we made it. The store it was originally sold to is not recorded. Please take a moment to register your guitar (http://www.alembic.com/cgi-bin/register.pl target=_blank) if you haven't already.
Hope you're enjoying it!

Mica,
Thanks for the info!
I was wondering, was this guitar a limited edition?

Hi Claire,
Congratulations on your new purchase!
Any chance that you may post a picture of it? I'm not familiar with this model. I'd really like to see it.
Cheers!

My curiousity got the better of me and I had to find what this baby looks like. Here is a pic I managed to locate on the net. Hope it gives you and idea of what this guitar looks like.

Yep, this is the one (the one in Michael's pic).
I think it is a beautiful instrument, and hopefully, it plays as well as it looks ;)
We should be receiving the guitar this week, and I will post the pictures as soon as I can.
Thanks for the posts!
