Welcome and congratulations, very cool looking bass! I have one with Macassar Ebony top and back too, massive tone (and weight). :)
Looks like maple laminate between the top and Core, I can’t tell the core from your photo, maple and Purple Heart neck, ebony fingerboard.
Might take a little while to get the info from the shop, they are a small crew with lots to do, but they will chime in with the official file info if available.
Very nice!

Supposedly a mahogany core, curious about the yin yang inlay

That last photo looks like mahogany core to me. Man, that thing is in fantastic condition! I don’t see a pickup selector switch, so it probably has a pickup pan control and is likely signature electronics (Vol, pan, low pass filter x2, Q x2). So each pickup has a filter and Q switch.

Check out the FAQ and Must Read pages on this Alembic Club site, and ask a lot of questions, lots of very knowledgeable people here.

Thanks for the info, always wanted to try an Alembic but never got the chance, I have a few nice vintage USA BC Rich basses. This one came up for a reasonable price, supposedly it's basically about unplayed, just has some minor fret sprout I'll get taken care of

Welcome Tim!
Dan posted the Reverb link for this bass yesterday... there are some nice pictures in the listing.

Beautiful.

I'm marking this with a (u) but it may have been overlooked because the serial number wasn't in the title. We will take another look this week to see if this file can be located.
