Hello all,
I am very lucky to have recently acquired this Alembic series 2 black beauty serial number 853564. From what I know it was ordered by Jürgen Dehmel (Nena). I am looking to gather all information we could have on this bass on its history (woods used, previous owners, anecdote). I am also looking for kind of owner's manual, how to use tone filters etc...
Is it possible to have some kind of certificate about this bass from Alembic ?

Alembic for someone connected to Nena sounded familiar - found this old thread:

There is almost no information about this bass in the record. Aside from the serial number, it only contains:
model: Series II
scale: Long 34"
finish: black
hardware: chrome plated
I've added the previous owner information from the other thread to the history.
While it's not recorded, generally, the solid black basses made around this time were usually solid Maple bodies. I'm afraid that's all I can tell you.
