Beautiful bass! I always chuckle when someone asks about the weight of an Alembic.

quite so, old chap.

i'll bet that bass is a screamin' demon with that maple core.  and weighs a ton to boot.  i could almost talk myself into making a play for her but i've already got a roomful of sweeties and somebody would have to get voted off the island to make room.  sigh...
