Title: National Guitar Day?
Post by: lbpesq on February 11, 2022, 10:41:53 AM
I got a couple of emails today about February 11th being National Guitar Day.  I don't recall any previous National Guitar Day celebrations.    Who decided today is NGD?  Is there a proper way to celebrate this holiday?  Do I get the day off from work?   Do I bring my Further a bouquet of flowers?  Chocolates for my Series 1?  WHAT'S THE DEAL?

Well, I am about to inform Senior Management of this momentous occasion, and suggest that the proper celebration would be retail-based.

Peter (who holds little hope for success.......)

It makes sense .. kinda.
2/11.

Like Nigel Tufnel’s amp… which goes to eleven.

Success as predicted; nonexistent.

But I did get her to sort-of agree to a refret of my main guitar for a birthday present.

Peter (who did consider telling Her that a Martin M-36 would be cheaper than a refret - but then remembered She has both the internet & the keys to the kingdom.....)
