Title: Mkt prices for used 2003 Custom - Short scale

Hi, Im considering purhasing a used Short Scale 4 string Alembic - can anyone please advise mktprices, I understand wit varies however whats the benchmark say for one in excellent condition - short scale, Stanley Clarke body shape - the budget version. USA used price that is

Seems like they are listed for roughly 7K nowadays. There is some variance in that but I would say that is the ballpark. Doesn't really seem like anyone is buying them at that price though

Here's a Stanley Clarke Brown Bass w/LED’s (https://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=26613.0) that was listed here and sold recently. I think the same bass (or one almost identical) was listed in the Talkbass classifieds (https://www.talkbass.com/threads/2007-alembic-brown-bass-w-led%E2%80%99s-5795-must-sell.1536832/) for $5,795 before it sold.

Reverb has a nice looking short scale small body Series I bass (https://reverb.com/item/46952298-alembic-series-1-1978-figured-walnut) that's for sale in the UK. There's been some discussion here (https://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=26766.0), I think the consensus is that at $8,377.83 + $247.28 shipping it's a bit overpriced.
