Bass Inside's cover story (http://www.bassinside.com/2002/september/sjay.htm target=_blank) is on Stephen Jay. You've heard him even if you haven't heard of him - he's been Weird Al's bass player forever and he has to be as good as everyone they parody. He's a versatile musician - check out
Stephen's website (http://www.stephenjay.com/sarwalbum.html target=_blank) which includes audio samples. I've got all his albums, he does amazing work.

Thanks Mica, I've been a fan of Stephen Jay for a long time, I remember seeing Stephen playing his Alembic on the Weird Al Show on saturday morning back in the 80s. Weird Al's last Tour Running with Scissors was great, Weird Al puts on one Hell of a show and his band is one the tightest bands I've ever seen. and yes Stephen Jay plays his Alembic most of the night, A warwick on a few songs and an Gibson EB-O on a song.
