Looks spectacular … consider me tempted …
For sale again? Please elaborate.
Cheers, Oliver

Advertised, inaccurately, as a “Series I”. I’d be a little careful.

The original paperwork will show as a Series I - but it was modified later and upgraded to Series II.

Beautiful guitar. And I appreciate the manner in which the ebony stringers were not buried under the top lam but left to be viewed in all their glory.

Yeah, really compliments the spalt lines, right? Gorgeous axe.

Any opinions to the price point? It seems like a lot to me, but this is also a lot of guitar.

It does seem a bit optimistic for a used guitar, though you'd spend quite a bit more if you wanted the same one new. As most of us know, Alembics take a hit at the re-sale level.

Similar to a Ferrari.
-
It was once on sale at Wildwood Guitars for half the current asking price.

Absolutely, Bill i see the same even though many sellers are pricing optimistically, the price usually settles down to reality or it stays on the market for years. That's why I tend to consider my alembics as keepers.
