Title: Maintaining Brown Bass
Post by: UglyBuzzard on November 16, 2021, 09:57:02 AM
Just picked up a Stanley Brown Bass. Curious, since it is oil finished, what would be the best product/solution to keep it conditioned & looking new?

Alembic hit a home run with this one!

Thanks in advance...

Congratulations on your new Brown Bass! Doesn’t get much better than this.
I refinished mine with this—shines and smells like new:
Liberon Black Bison Paste Wax https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007AC069G?ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details&th=1 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007AC069G?ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details&th=1)
Cheers, Oliver

As per the FAQ page on Finish Care (https://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=205.0), Liberon Professionals Paste Wax is recommended for the oil finish on a Brown Bass. It may be pretty much the same product that Oliver mentions, mind you the post dates from 2005.

I don't know how to get it in the message body?
