Title: Another Beautiful Further
Post by: StephenR on October 16, 2021, 04:15:46 PM: Think this one went up on Reverb after the Resin Buckeye Burl one Rob posted about earlier. I find this Flame Koa Further to be one of the nicest looking ones I have seen to date. They all are pretty but there is something about the color of the wood on this one that knocks it out of the park for me, the wood really compliments the shape of the guitar without overwhelming it and becoming the sole focal point. Not sure how much I like the light wood binding on the neck but a small quibble overall. All the Alembics that Eddie's Guitars have ordered to in to sell have been amazing, whoever picks out the specs has great taste, and they seem to be one of the only US vendors who stocks Series instruments.

Post by: rv_bass on October 16, 2021, 07:28:27 PM: Wow, that is beautiful! Koa with Mahogany, bet it has a nice warm tone with the maple neck supporting the highs just right for clarity…very nice! :) Eddie’s gets some amazing instruments for sure.

Description on Eddie’s site says mahogany neck, so even more warmth to the tone …beautiful! :)
