Hoping our friends in the Northeast get through the approaching storm relatively unscathed.   

Just watching the NYC concert get cancelled for weather.   I found it amusing that Mother Nature shut it down while Barry Manilow was performing.

Peter (who can't help but wonder:  If Barry Manilow is, as the programmers & marketers tell us, middle-of-the-road - why hasn't anyone run him over yet?)

The rains were a welcome side effect here in Virginia. It's been awful dry this Summer. Hoping my pals up in the Northeast are battened down.

Boston made it through (so far) with just a little rain.  Cloudy and breezy now.  Hope all in SE MA, Rhody and CT are fairing well!
