Look closely at the interior electronics photo on this one.

KR, I am not sure what you are implying or suggesting with that statement but everything is original on this vintage beauty.

It does appear to be missing the power supply.

I'm pointing out the unique electronics package, possibly mellow filters, not that it's modded.

It is the standard Series I electronics package from 75. All original.

Interesting, that the hum-canceller and pickups are a different color.
Just because I can't help it, here is the next one in line, #75-150, a Series bass. https://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=8454.0

I wonder what the switches do with this package?
-
Interesting output jack, bridge screws, pickup colors and Zebra wood. That case has about the most Mojo I have ever seen, too!

I assume this is the same as my ‘76 MSG. It’s a standard Series I package. By the “switches” I assume you mean the two mini toggle switches. These are 3-way Q switches that add 0-6-9 db at the cut-off frequency set by the filters. I wonder if the dummy pickup has been changed? Otherwise it looks to be original and in excellent condition for its age.

Bill, I was asking because looking at the pots for the frequency.. they are different than what I'm used to seeing so I thought maybe it was a mellow filter setup.

No, it has not been changed. The guitar is 100% original.

Here is #75-137, another 'close neighbor' guitar. Her pickups don't match the humcanceller exactly either, but within the thread it mentions Ron replaced them when the guitar was refurbished.

I can think of only one other example that has cream pickups and a black hum-x. It's in an old advertisement somewhere. Eiji would know. He also mentions that in-common neck layup in this thread. (of particular interest to me because I have been planning a guitar build with a LOT of '73-'75 specs...)

Interestingly, this same guitar very recently sold on reverb, likely in the last few days. Feedback was left only two days ago. Looks like a flip.
