Hi All-
Just received my new(used) Spoiler I got from a fellow Talkbass member yesterday.
It is absolutely beautiful, and plays the same...
Mostly interested in the top laminate, as the grain really lights my fire, but want to know all I can about it.
Thanks!

Perhaps I wrote the serial # incorrectly..?
It is # 85S3540

Hey Willie,
Welcome! It takes a bit of time for Mica to find the build cards, small company where everyone wears multiple hats. If you post some pictures of your bass someone may be able to identify the top wood for you while you wait for more details.
-
Indeed Stephen. Thank you.
I'll attach some photos. Also a YouTube link of it with Johnny Lee Lang.

Beautiful bass, congratulations!
My guess is Bocate top, mahogany body, with maple neck and ebony fingerboard. Bet it sounds great! :)
