On his Reverb selling page for his 1976 LSB, https://reverb.com/item/42756744-alembic-series-1-swamper-david-hood-s-bass-1976 David Hood listed many albums/hits that he used it on. He started using it exclusively in late '76 and into the late 80's. David used his Alembic on thousands of tracks. Easily the most recorded Alembic bass of all time. Here are just a few:

I would not be who I am without absorbing a LOT of Muscle Shoals and David Hood. The two standouts I play at the house every so often to remind me that less IS more, if it's the RIGHT less.

I always laugh when I hear that Paul Simon wanted to record with those Jamaican players who did 'I'll Take You There', only to be told it was four rednecks in Northern Alabama . . . . .

David is incredible. His album cuts are some of his best work.

Hey - that bass has the same birthday as me! This was finished on my sixth birthday. I'm always surprised when I look up instrument build records at how few share birthdays with us here.
