Title: David Hood's Alembic LSB for sale

1976 LSB. Birch and amaranth neck w/maple top on a koa core. Came with Pyramids in 1976 and looks to have them on it now. 19k asking.

AE 76-410. May 21st, 1976. There was Will's and Jimmy's basses made at 405 and 418 either side of that one, but with an AC number.

Was the E for "Export" maybe? The paperwork does include "USA" as part of the serial number. Just curious.  ???  Perhaps it just means I should be distracted by other things.  ::)

Entwistle had an A serial bass, too. 76-A046. Concerning Hood's LSB, Rick Turner pointed out that the koa core is something they wouldn't normally use, and the maple top isn't book matched; also odd.
