ya don't see this everyday:

I'm just taking a guess these were more pieces from Mr. Entwistle's 'spares kit'.
Derby, U.K. Just a short hop from Huncote... and coincidentally the ancestral home of She-who-wears-the-pink-floppy-hats.

Wow. Such a specific collection of items which could only be of use to a small number of people, all of whom are forum members. Not only that but these pieces would only fit on a few specific instruments - like the 8-string bridge... For the seller in this case, I'm sorry but "rare" doesn't translate into "worth a fortune". If anybody here has any interest I'd suggest offering around $250.
Ironic because if this really is part of Entwistle's spares then there must be a legal reason why they can't mention that. Some diehard Who fan would likely pay what they're asking for a piece of the band's gear.

I wouldn't mind having the one all the way to the left in that first picture. 1974/5 style. The one on my 1975 is kinda worn. I don't really need it but it would be nice.
I have wooden shims between the saddles to keep them from wiggling around.

I wonder if this is connected to JazzyVee's recent score of Alembic parts.

And, those bridges won't fit just any Series bass. My '77 bridge doesn't fit my '78.

Those do look like stuff that was on the auction and since the seller is about 50 miles from me I would think it was the same auction. There were a few more bridges for sale recently at the same auction house.
The three i ended with were two different sizes and only one was the same size as my 4 string basses, the other two were too wide. So they will go when someone is in need of them and drops me a pm email. I have the bridge spacing sizes too.

but wait there's more....

Deep cuts on those saddles.

$41.16 shipping. HEAVY bridge. It must be one of the early ones mad of Vibranium!

BeenDown139, nope I don't have any connection with those and like Jimmy J states, I can't think they would fetch any kind of fortune.
I'm happy just to get rid of mine for a minor uplift to cover shipping to my home from the auction and postage. Let someone else who thinks they can get rich on them leave them on the internet till it closes. :-).

Looks like they have sold so if anyone missed out and still interested in a 4 string alembic bridge, drop me a PM and we can work something out. I can't find any way to repurpose them into another useful object. :-)
