Title: Brown pickup casting experiments
Post by: mica on June 28, 2021, 10:22:25 PM: I've been doing some experiments with recreating some of the brown pickup colors of the early 1970s. Back then, the polyurethane ONLY came in brown, and it wasn't even the same color every time. I've narrowed it down to three main colors, and I'm pretty happy with my first tries of two of them. It will be a little while before I'm able to offer these as options, still working out the kinks, and they will likely also have some amount of color variation as the originals, but I'm pretty sure this is going to make some people very happy.

I find a lot of that color in my granddaughter's diaper.
