Title: That's my boy!
Post by: cozmik_cowboy on June 22, 2021, 08:55:35 PM
My youngest & his family were (as I mentioned in the "Scenery" thread) here with us last week.  On the way home , my grandson (age 5) tested positive for the 'vid (asymptomatic thus far).  When the state of AK called with the news, they told my son "I'm sorry, but your daughter Rudy has tested positive for COVID".

He replied "Actually, he identifies as male".

His mother seems to think I had something to do with the development of his sense of humor.......

Sorry to hear of the positive test.  Hoping he stays asymptomatic; and hoping no one else is affected.

So far, two cousins he was in close proximity to (including one he spent 2 days with in a hotel room by O'Hare just before heading home; just enough time for incubation to pop positive in Juneau) have tested negative, so I'm thinking either he picked it up at O'Hare or on that flight, or it was a false positive.

And that’s why I’m still not getting on a plane!

Second test also positive, so there goes my false positive hope.  Both his parents, who are vaccinated, have tested negative both times he didn't.

I hope he gets through it quickly. I'm concerned that Xander will pick it up, even though we're very careful.

Still asymptomatic, and no longer under any restrictions as of today!
