Now that we’re all more than two weeks past second shots, my band Stonetrout played in my home studio this afternoon, inside with no masks! It’s the first time we’ve played together since a live stream we did last October. Had a blast! Boy did I miss this.

Me too Bill! It was a very fun time. I play Bass in this band and haven't gotten to make loud low notes for a long time 8) 8)

Happy to join in this thread. Had a gig last Thursday and the Thursday before in a pub near Kettering (UK) with different bands. Small crowd as it is a small pub but everyone, band as well, relieved to be back at it.
UK fingers crossed that our Government doesn't feel the need to reverse the 21st June opening hope!!

We just did three nights indoors. A very loooooooong weekend! In general, businesses don't require masks unless people are not vaccinated, although it's on the honor system.

Very jealous of you Glynn. Up here, north of the border, Nicola still won't allow us to play any gigs. I've managed a couple of rehearsals with my blues trio but my main band won't get together until Ms Sturgeon says we're all clear.

My band have a small festival gig next month but no dates sorted for rehearsal at the moment and i'm itching to get back to playing with a band again. The other hitch is that Brum has just implemented the Clean Air Zone which two rehearsals room we use are both just inside of by about 200 metres. Fortunately my car is clean enough to avoid the tariff but I'm not sure how many of the band will fall foul and £8 a throw a clock day is not cheap.
It might hit the city centre live music venues as if you have a gig that you need to be there before midnight and leave after midnight each car older than 2015 could will end up having to pay two lots of tariff so a lot of musicians will not be happy about that as Brum doesn't pay that well for gigs anyway.
Well lets hope the Musician's union can exert some pressure or the night economy will suffer.
