This would be amazing for me. I can't unhear my amp cranked to 11 in the 90's or the fire cracker that went off in my face in 2001.
Maybe some other Alembicians would benefit.

Awesome Paul man thanks

having stood between my stack and heavy-handed drummers for 40+ years i can hardly understand what people are saying to me anymore unless i can read their lips due to the jangling telephone i hear going off in my head for most of my waking hours (and sometimes in my sleep as well). be interesting to see if this mainstreams or not.
hearing loss ain't no joke. but try telling that to a 19-year-old full of hisself with the world as his oyster.

That's good news. I wonder when it will be considered a mainstream treatment so insurance will pick it up. I was fortunate many years ago when I had my hearing tested an ears fitted for musicians ear plugs that my insurance covered everything.

Eh?
I do hope this is for real. Decades of rock'n'roll didn't seem to hurt my hearing - but a couple 2 stints of factory work with decades of the constant noise of driving a truck and I am, indeed, ringing of late.

I first thought the story was a spoof, but it would be great if this truly works and is made available to people.
My tinnitus is terrible and never stops. You can't explain what it's like, to family and friends who don't have it, either. They look at me like I'm crazy when I talk about it. SO, I don't.

And with the rest of us, you don't have to talk to about it; we, alas, know (and might not hear you if did).

I've heard various things about this treatment. I'm really hoping it comes to something. Right now I'm doing tinnitus retraining therapy. It's expensive, and only does so much, although it's definitely better than nothing.
There's also a medication in trials that seems promising although the latest trials didn't quite produce the results they hoped for.
My mom warned me about this when I was a teenager....

But - but - my computer tells me every day that there's one weird food I can eat to cure it immediately! Surely, Edwin, you don't mean to imply that my computer lies to me?!?!?

Rest easy, Peter--that could NEVER happen!

Hahahaha! No, I was talking about this: https://www.frequencytx.com
I have invested a few dollars in them. I was sorry to see it crash from $56 a share to $8 after their most recent trials. Hope springs eternal.
